Pauline has been a member in good standing of OGCPV since 1985 and has achieved the designation of LIFE MEMBER. Pauline’s sponsor was Wilfreta Baugh.  (In 1993, Pauline sponsored Valerie Hutton and 2020 Rylanda Wilson). 

She is an active contributor to all club activities often being the first to arrive for monthly club meetings and one of the first to volunteer for club activities. Pauline has fond memories of the Club’s annual floral arrangement workshops benefiting the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House and in 2019 Pauline Co-chaired the club’s outreach to the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, where the Club provided almost two dozen exquisite floral displays for its dining room, public areas, staff offices and board room.  Other civic development activities include providing floral displays for Philadelphia’s historic Strawberry Mansion in Fairmount Park during its Christmas Open House and Spring Strawberry Festival.  In the mid 1980’s Pauline recalls the club making period inspired decorations for the historic Lemon Hill Mansion.

Pauline has had frequent award winning entries  in the PHS  Flower Show including Floral Design classes of small and medium niche, in addition to horticulture. She was known for her Ikebana inspired designs.
